Shelter wisdom, clinical skill
Claire is a qualified PDTI (Professional Dog Training Instructor) and Certified Dog Behaviour Consultant (CDBC) with the IAABC. She is the tutor at Creedons College, Cork, where she teaches trainee dog trainers to PDTI level.
Claire holds extensive experience in fostering and rehoming dogs within the Irish shelter system — meaning she has lived with a vast array of behaviour challenges in her own home. This gives her a grounded, practical understanding of behaviour that goes beyond the textbook.
She specialises in fear-based behaviours, aggression, and building confidence and trust between dogs and their owners. Claire is also a certified Man Trailing instructor, with a focus on stress reduction techniques — making her approach uniquely enriching as well as therapeutic.
