What is the Alumni Network?

A community of people who truly get it

Working with a consultant or trainer is invaluable — but being surrounded by people who truly understand what you and your dog are experiencing is life changing.

The Snout & About Client Network connects guardians who are beginning their behaviour and training journeys with those who have already made enormous progress. It becomes a powerful lifeline when you need safe, understanding partners to practise with — whether that's dog–dog reactivity work, visitor protocols, calm co-walking, or simply companionship without judgement.

Operating in Cork and Kilkenny, this is an exclusive Snout & About concept that has transformed lives, empowered clients, reduced isolation, built confidence, and created long-lasting friendships. It exists to break the cycle of shame, fear and blame that dog guardians so often feel — replacing it with connection, compassion and community.

"A community of people, just like you, who truly get it."
Who can join?

The network is available to clients who have completed full consultation services with Snout & About in their respective counties. This ensures every member has the professional foundation to support and practise safely together.

This concept was recognised by the IAABC Foundation Journal as an incredibly progressive, internationally unique model of client aftercare and community support — and it began right here in Cork.

Expert guidance

Group check-ins and input from your consultant and trainer when you need them — to troubleshoot challenges and celebrate your successes.

Lifelong & free
