Suzy is certified in dog training & behaviour from the British College of Canine Studies and a Certified Behaviour Consultant with the IAABC. She’s been running The Dog Centre working closely with dogs and their families for 13 years providing adventure dog walking and training in Kilkenny. She holds various qualifications in dog behaviour and courses including Simone Mueller’s Predation Substitute workshop and Pet Harmony Pro.
Suzy creates numerous journalistic materials and writes training and behaviour support articles for various publications, including Connolly’s Redmills and PAWS Animal Rescue.

My Prices

Behaviour Consultation — €250

Suzy will visit your home for a comprehensive behaviour consultation lasting approximately 2–3 hours. While the session is structured, it is not time-restricted, allowing the space needed for your dog to settle and for a thorough assessment to take place.

This consultation aims to identify the underlying motivations, emotional drivers, and environmental factors contributing to your dog’s behaviour. The process begins with a detailed discussion with you, followed by practical demonstration, observational assessment, and guided coaching for the human end of the lead.

Includes:

  • Bespoke behaviour plan tailored to your dog’s needs
  • Demonstrative training & guided handling support
  • Access to the Behaviour Bible App
  • Veterinary referral letters & professional-team communication
  • Follow-up session (home, virtual, or external environment)
  • Ongoing email support (within working hours)
  • Optional access to The Alumni support network

Where appropriate, this consultation may be conducted virtually.

Training Consultation — €100

This service is designed for training-focused goals, not behavioural concerns.

Ideal for building foundations, practising new skills, and supporting dogs and handlers through everyday training tasks such as loose-lead walking, recall, enrichment foundations, confidence building, and puppy training.

Follow-up training sessions: €70

Virtual Consultation — €150

A structured remote consultation ideal for guardians outside Suzy’s travel radius or where virtual assessment is more appropriate.

Virtual follow-up sessions: €50
