Tracey
Cummins
Client Community Lead · Cork · Alumni Initiative
A role born not from a job listing, but from lived experience, genuine dedication, and the kind of quiet leadership that transforms a community from the inside out. Tracey was recognised and appointed by Snout & About as our Client Community Lead — the person who truly understands this journey, because she has lived every part of it.
A role earned, not assigned
Tracey's position within Snout & About did not begin with a recruitment process. It evolved organically — and intentionally — from within our client community itself.
Having been through the Snout & About process as a client, Tracey developed into one of the most consistent, compassionate, and quietly impactful presences within our Alumni network. She became the person others naturally gravitated toward — the steady voice that normalised the struggle, celebrated the small wins, and helped fellow guardians feel less alone in a process that can, at times, feel overwhelming.
That contribution did not go unnoticed. Her appointment as Client Community Lead was a formal recognition of what she had already been doing — and a reflection of how seriously Snout & About takes the human side of this work. Because the guardian's experience matters as much as the dog's progress, and having someone in that space who has genuinely lived it changes everything.
"Tracey understands this journey not because she was trained to — but because she walked it herself. That insight is irreplaceable, and it is exactly what our community needed."

What Tracey brings to the community
The Client Community Lead role is a strategically important one. A clinical team can explain the process — but only someone who has lived it can make you feel truly understood.
Peer-level support
Tracey connects with you not as a trainer or consultant, but as someone who has been exactly where you are — uncertain, hopeful, and working hard for their dog.
Confidential & without judgement
Everything shared with Tracey within the Alumni community is held with care. She provides a safe, private space where guardians can speak openly about their journey.
Onboarding new members
Once your initial assessment is complete and your programme is underway, Tracey helps you settle into the wider Alumni community — at your own pace and on your own terms.
Celebrating the journey
Progress in behaviour work is rarely linear. Tracey knows this intimately and ensures that every milestone — however small — is recognised, valued, and celebrated.
The Alumni Network — an internationally recognised model
The Snout & About Client Network is built on a principle that sets us apart: that the support does not end when the programme does. It is a model of ongoing, community-led care that recognises the long-term nature of behaviour work — and the human beings doing that work every day.
Lifelong & free
Alumni membership provides ongoing support at no additional cost — for as long as you need it.
Community of guardians
Connect with people who genuinely understand the work — because they are doing it too, every single day.
Clinical backup
Your consultant and trainer remain available to step in when challenges arise — ensuring no one navigates a setback alone.
Internationally acclaimed
Our Alumni model is recognised as a genuinely progressive approach to post-consultation support in the canine behaviour field.
