Certified Trainee Trainer at Snout & About

We are delighted to welcome certified trainer Cló  O’Riordan PDT, founder of Good Dog Guild, to the Snout & About team as our Trainee Trainer.

Cló first joined us as a client with her Irish Water Spaniel, Ned. From the outset, her natural aptitude for canine behaviour was unmistakable. Her observational clarity, gentle handling style, and thoughtful insights demonstrated a level of instinct and emotional intelligence that is rare to find.

Following that consultation, Cló pursued formal study with Creedons Academy under the guidance of our own Claire Quinlan CDBC, further strengthening the strong foundation she already possessed.

Cló has since supported many of our clients through professional pet-sitting services, consistently receiving exceptional feedback for her reliability, compassion, and ability to understand and meet the needs of dogs with a wide range of temperaments.

Her reporting, communication, and customer-care skills have stood out as exemplary, reflecting the high professional standards we hold as a team.

As she progresses into the training pathway, Cló will work closely with our multidisciplinary team and benefit from ongoing mentorship from leading professionals in veterinary behaviour, canine health, and welfare across Ireland. Her commitment to inclusive, accessible, welfare-first practice aligns deeply with our ethos at Snout & About.

Cló describes her mission in her own words:

“Every dog deserves love, and every person deserves the joy and companionship a well-cared-for pup brings. I’m passionate about making my dog training, walking, and minding services welcoming to everyone, including those with additional needs, disabilities, or disadvantaged backgrounds.”
