Emmett is a qualified training technician with Creedon’s College, is working toward his certification with APDT and is in continuing education to become a certified Behaviour Consultant with the IAABC.

Emmett has a special interest in high prey and work drive dogs believing that an understanding of these, while providing owners with appropriate and safe skills to meet their dog’s needs, can develop a deeper understanding and spread joy to both ends of the leash.

Emmett assists in Behaviour Modification Training programs and supports the additional needs of our clients with dogs who require a professional approach to their needs.

Emmett founded “Sound as a Hound” and joined Snout & About to support his work towards qualification as a Behaviour Consultant.

“Training is never linear and we must always seek to meet the dog and the person where they are in their journey. Empathy and understanding for both is vital for progress, is key to meeting goals but mostly it is the essential in building lasting bonds”
